Air Pollutants and Noise on Construction Sites

Within the reconstruction of the former InterContinental Hotel, an agreement was made between the Prague 1 district and the investor of the ongoing reconstruction, to inform in detail the nearby school, parents and the public about the current environmental situation.

“On the construction site and in the local school building, air quality measurements will be taken regularly at the expense of the developer. Protocols of the measurements shall conclusively demonstrate that there will be no harmful substances present in the air. The focus will also be on dust particulate matters in excess limits. Thanks to the involvement of Prague 1, a special air monitoring sensor was also installed at a local school, with results available online on the school’s website, which has already been successfully tested by the city at two locations,” says the Representative of the Prague 1 Municipal District.
