“The air quality in Čelákovice has been a topic for many years, even though after the industry has strangled in our town its quality has improved considerably. The target of criticism and the subject of of complaints is mainly the local foundry, which is situated close to housing developments. One of the sensors has therefore been placed in this location and the other for comparison with the traffic load, to a junction in the city centre where the traffic tends to be high. After consultation with a company representative, we measure the dust particulate matters, NO2 and O3. We are satisfied with the measurements and have concluded a new contract for the next two years,” says Ing. Lenka Rašínová, Head of the Environmental Department
